The mission control usecase

First of all, I do not agree that your post violates the Apple Support Communities Terms of Use. Those Terms specifically state that "Constructive feedback about product features is welcome as well." If you wanted to ask why Apple removed the headphone jack or why it is promoting iCloud services, that would be different.

Second of all, I think you have an excellent idea. Unfortunately, it may be a little too good. I thought about your idea and it made a lot of sense. I also thought it would be nice if the windows were grouped together by app instead of being scattered about. But then I checked Mission Control settings and found a setting for grouping windows that was turned off by default. I guess Apple had already though of my idea. So I turned it on. When I did that, I discovered that each Window group also now included the application icon. So, Apple had already thought of your idea too.

I guess it was ultimately a good idea that you asked your question. I was going to point you to the Apple Bug Report site where you could submit a feature enhancement. I guess I can still do that if you have other ideas: (http://bugreport.apple.com). But I think you can feel free to discuss them here too.

Please don't take offence at my other post. Sometimes the Terms of Use can be pretty subtle. In my opinion, speculation usually requires some kind of "why is Apple?" question.

Also, you can always use the "Report post" feature under the down arrow on both the original post or any reply. This is a notification sent directly to the Apple moderators. They will review your report and, if they agree, remove or edit the post in question. They don't always agree though. Sometimes they are too lenient, especially when it concerns posts that I have reported. And sometimes they are too harsh, usually when it is my post being removed or edited. I can assure you that any discussion of Apple moderation policies definitely passed the "speculation" test. 🙂

I totally understand what you are saying and I agree that the Terms can sometimes be vague. I just wanted to make sure the Community was maintained in a way Apple wishes.

The main reason I pointed the post out was because I felt like the post was "polling" the community. Sorry to have caused any problems.
